About our Farm

Our facility, situated in the picturesque New Smyrna Beach, Florida (which is just south of Daytona Beach), spans across 11.25 acres. It features 11 spacious stalls, a foaling barn, and shelters vividly present in each of our six well-maintained pastures. Additionally, we provide an air-conditioned tack/lounge room, a substantial riding arena, two round-pens, and two wash racks. Moreover, there are multiple sitting areas scattered throughout the property, providing you with ample opportunities to relax and enjoy your surroundings.

About our Riding Instructor
|
Cassidy Melanson is a PATH-certified CTRI (Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor) who has been working with unique ability riders at Easterseals at Edgar’s Farm since the spring of 2023. She also works with private clients, focusing on building solid, safe foundational work for horses through the teachings of Sean Patrick Horsemanship. Cassidy apprenticed with Sean Patrick where she gained valuable experience with finished reining horses and assisted in starting young horses and restarting horses of all ages.
Cassidy began teaching riding lessons professionally at the age of 15 and has since worked with a wide range of riders, exploring disciplines such as western pleasure, hunter, jumper, gymkhana, drill team, and reining. Her diverse experience makes her a well-rounded instructor and horse trainer, dedicated to helping both horses and riders reach their full potential. |
About our Horses

Dr. Angelique Barbara, the founder of Angel's Heavenly Horses, has been riding horses since the age of 5. Throughout her life, she has maintained continuous ownership of horses and has dedicated the past two decades to breeding exceptional Western horses. Our farm, located in Central Eastern Florida, primarily focuses on breeding foundation and performance breed Quarter and Paint horses. We raise our horses using holistic methods, ensuring their physical and mental well-being. Rest assured, our horses possess the necessary capabilities to serve as safe and loving equine companions for your family throughout their entire lives.
